My name is Amanda and I design the clothing that you see on www.tennysonbex.com. A site designed to provide clothing for twins, triplets, multiples....at least that was how it all started...
My fiancée and I, discussed trying for a baby in 2023. We would be older parents, in our late thirties and early forties and thought we might need to try for a while before we were blessed. In the time were waiting for a baby to show up, we could move in together, plan a wedding, meet extended family members... Babies don't care about any of this.
Not only did we not get to do anything we planned, we also didn't get to do it twice. A Twelve week ultrasound confirmed we were expecting twins and suddenly priorities had to change. Would I change anything? Of course not, I know that we are very blessed to now have two healthy twin boys. Life sometimes just throws you a curveball and ours was twins.
So, I married my husband, we started raising our babies in our tiny two bedroom house, which now already feels too small, well, everything but the mortgage feels small. And we began trying to celebrate raising twin boys; styling them up for milestones, events and day trips to create cherished memories, we can all look back on when we are older.
And as most parents do, we looked online to try to find things that we want them to wear and decided to try our hand at creating a company that specialises in matching outfits. Named after our twin boys; Tennysonbex gives parents an alternative option to the main stream clothes that you have seen a million times online. Something more unique and personal, something that maybe the whole family can get excited about?
But twins can really fit into any type of family; big ones small ones, first time parents and established parents, step parents, adopted parents and everything else in between. Because family after all is a feeling. A strong bond shared with love and commitment and loyalty.
So is Tennysonbex just a clothing site for twins? No, it surely can't be as life is never that simple. Its a site designed by parents of multiples, which offers unique designs for you and your family.
